“SIMPLY THE BEST four SEASONs SLOPESTYLE TRAINING SITE ON THE PLANET”
AIR-BAGS . FIS slopestyle. DRY-SLOPE . TRAMPOLINES
A UNIQUE PROJECT for the skiers and riders community
Quebec City is a unique place where people have been passionate about skiing and snowboarding for nearly hundred years. Ski and snowboard teams & clubs and Sport etudes train here full time, seven days a week. All united by a desire of creating a training center specializing in slopestyle. Nowhere else in Canada (nor internationally) does a region host so many different Sport etudes programs (more than fifteen highly decorated programs) in addition to six slopestyle ski and snowboard clubs (including Union Ski, among the largest slopestyle club in Canada with near 250 athletes and six specialized club programs). Fifty athletes from provincial and national teams in skiing and snowboarding make it their regular training site. The Quebec Region is the soul of slopestyle skiing and snowboarding and the community is heavily involved in ensuring that it remains the hub of our disciplines and a premier training destination for both juniors and international team athletes.
The project; a National Training Center specializing in slopestyle, the Stepup Park, which aims to offer our Canadian athletes, in skiing and snowboarding, the opportunity to train without traveling internationally, all in the best facilities ever offered. Our Olympic disciplines, slopestyle, big-air, are booming and represent one of the fastest growing sports. However, there is no specialized public training center at an affordable cost meeting the needs of our disciplines in Eastern Canada. In order to bring this dream to reality, the Développement Sports Extrêmes Québec (DESQ) team meet up with the best collaborators including Delight Snowpark, world-renowned snow park designer, and Flow Inflatables, Quebec air-bag manufacturer
